We enjoyed a potpourri of wines we don’t usually sample, thanks to Jim Likes and Vintage Wines: A 2009 Chateau Pierre de Montigniac Medoc, a 2009 Domaine Terlato & Chapontier Shiraz-Viognier blend, a 2009 Mulderbosch Sauvignon blanc, and a 2010 Rubrato Aglianico Fendi di San Gregorio. We also had a treat, a 1999 Eberle Boar’s Blood blend, courtesy of Tom Fisher. Thanks to both of you for a unusual and pleasant tasting.
Today was our 4th anniversary at the Rock Bottom. They’ve been 4 very happy years, and we hope to have many more equally happy. To celebrate, we enjoyed a special treat of red velvet cupcakes, provided by Gordon. Thanks, Gordon.
