Under the leadership of longtime Rotarian Nancy Stoke, the Care ‘n Share Toy Drive continues to make a powerful impact.
What began in 2009 as a grassroots effort to spread joy has now grown into a signature project of the Torrey Pines La Jolla Rotary Club—recently featured in both the San Diego Union-Tribune and Times of San Diego.

This year alone, 4,349 stuffed animals were donated by San Diego County Fair guests and distributed to children across San Diego and Tijuana. Since inception, the drive has delivered more than 122,000 toys to local and international youth organizations.

In partnership with the Del Mar Kiwanis Club, the project has become a shining example of inter-club collaboration and the power of generosity—from young fairgoers to seasoned Rotarians.

Thank you, Nancy, for your steadfast dedication and leadership in creating joy where it’s needed most.
